you got me right. heres a story..

in 1983, two fellow diligent and hardworking serious taekwondo masters were training closely with the founder of taekwondo himself, General Choi Hong Hi. One was the senior of the other by two belt ranks. Soon after, i guess they went on to lead their busy and infamous lives only people in this field would notice.

13 or 14 years later, a small boy earned his very first taekwondo certificate. Signed by the senior of the two student of the General back in 1983. Of course, this senior student is of same nationality as this boy.

about 11 or 12 years later, this boy now, a handsome, charming and well built young adult received yet another scroll of excellence in the field of taekwondo thus adding into his collections with this being the latest. at this time, this grown boy is now on the other side of the world where he grew up on.he is back on the land where the two students from 1983 was from, training with the old general when he received this latest scroll. this time, signed by yet another grandmaster, who is none other than the junior student.

after 24 years, 18000miles away, the signature of these two men, although they in person never had the chance to brush skin anymore, now hangs elegantly on the wall in the room of this boy, who I am more than proud to announce, is Myself.

Yes girls and boys, the youngens and the oldies, the senior student is actually Grandmaster Sabree Salleh and the junior student being Grandmaster Mark McCarthy. They probably never saw each other again after 1983, but 24 years later, their signature is engraved on my certificates, hanging on my wall, in my room, back on the land, where it all started.Me.cheehh...that last sentence tu saje je, sounds cool.

So, after a tedious long email, an explanation of how I am connected to Mark McCarthy and so on and so forth, Grandmaster Sabree Salleh without any hessitation had asked me to meet him and my friends, I AM MEETING THE MAN TOMORROW!!oh my god, this is going down my history book of my life and lies and truth be told, this could very well be my single most valuable moment of my entire taekwondo career. Let's see, how far this trajectory is going to bring me.
